TYPES OF PRINTS
for blogger friend, if we had already explained the kinds of jersey material. This time we will explain the types of screen printing for t-shirts.
This type of screen printing for t-shirts in general there are two, digital printing and manual. Screen printing with digital printing is very easy, even for beginners though. While the manual screen printing is more difficult, and more stages. Both require a computer for image settings.
I. Digital Printing
Here's the equipment needed for digital printing:
1. Printers that have been modified into a tube system. This tube will be filled with a special ink for screen printing (ink sublime).
2. Heat press machine.
3. Paper or inkjet transfer paper.
4. Ink sublime
Stages of screen printing with digital printing:
1. Select a picture or photograph to be printed. Necessary to rely more attractive design.
2. Behind the picture (mirroring).
3. Print to inkjet paper (for light color T-shirts) or transfer paper (for dark color T-shirts).
4. Place the printout onto the shirt, then press with a press machine between 30-60 seconds (depending on the power press machine)
5. Lift the paper or inkjet transfer paper.
6. Process is complete.
II.manual screen printing
Require manual screen printing equipment as follows:
1. Laser printers
2. Table afdruk
3. Screen
4. Water atomizer
5. Rakel
6. Plywood
7. Drug Afdruk
8. Glue t-shirts
9. Pasta Sablon
10. Dye ink
11. Hairdryer
Stages of manual screen printing:
1. Using graphics software, separate the color from the image to be printed. Color separation techniques can be read here.
2. Print each of the colors that have been separated by laser printers. Print all of them with black.
3. Brush the surface of the screen with afdruk drugs. Wait until slightly dry.
4. Place the printout and drug screen afdruk had been smeared onto the table afdruk. Then irradiate with light under the table afdruk about 10-20 minutes.
5. Making the screen as much as the number of colors that will be screened.
6. Spray the screen with water spray equipment, so the part that contains the desired image to be perforated.
7. Mix the paste with the ink color by color as desired.
8. Enter the shirt to the plywood that had smeared glue t-shirts. The use of plywood aims to obtain a flat surface of the T-shirt
9. Place the screen over the shirt, then paste was poured onto the screen.
10. Pull pasta that has been poured by Rakel, so the pasta down to the shirt through a perforated screen.
11. Wait until dry, then repeat step 9 and 10 for other colors.
12. After completion of all colors, screen printing on the shirts are dry with sunshine and a hairdryer.
13. Process is complete.
